The Guy Wire Kit provides three 1/8" galvanized steel cables for stabilizing a mega tree center pole against wind. Each cable is 32 feet long with an eye crimped on one end; the other end comes with an eye and two clamps. Cables can be cut to the desired length. Three carabiners are included for quick attachment. The kit includes a guy wire adaptor that fits 1.5" center poles.

- Guy wire adaptor (fits 1.5" center poles)
Note: All mega tree components are designed for use with 1.5" rigid electrical conduit and couplings. They will not work with electrical conduit or plumbing couplings.

What's the difference between the Guy Wire Kit and the Guy Wire Adaptor Kit?
The Guy Wire Kit contains cables, carabiners, clamps, and a basic guy wire adaptor. The Guy Wire Adaptor Kit includes all of that plus a dedicated pole-mount adaptor for 1.5" threaded conduit and a star mount adaptor (1.5" to 1/2" bushing) for attaching a star topper. If you are using a crank-up hook head or want to mount a star topper, the Guy Wire Adaptor Kit is the better choice.
Can the cables be shortened?
Yes — each cable can be cut to the desired length to match the height of your center pole and the distance to your ground anchors.

Do I need the Guy Wire Adaptor Kit as well?
If you are using a crank-up hook head, yes — you also need the Guy Wire Adaptor Kit, which provides the mounting point at the top of the pole for the guy wire cables. The Guy Wire Kit provides the cables and ground anchors; the Guy Wire Adaptor Kit provides the top-of-pole hardware that the cables attach to.
What hook heads is this compatible with?
Compatible with all mega tree hook heads: 16-Peg Crank Up, 16-Peg Screw On, 24-Peg Crank Up, and 24-Peg Screw On.
