The 12" star tree topper is a powder-coated steel frame designed for use with mega tree hook head systems and pole tree displays. The star has a 1/2" pipe thread nipple welded to its base for mounting onto a hook head or star mount adaptor. Lighting is not included — use whatever type of lighting and attachment method suits your display.

The perimeter of the 12" star is 48 1/8".

Does lighting come with this star topper?

No — this is the frame only. You can use any lighting type and attachment method. For a pre-sized kit with M5 cool white LED lights, zip ties, and clips, see the matching light kit.

How does the star attach to the mega tree?

The star has a 1/2" pipe thread nipple welded to its base. It threads onto a star mount adaptor, which connects to your hook head or guy wire adaptor. Screw-on hook heads include the star mount adaptor. For crank-up hook heads, the adaptor is included with the Guy Wire Adaptor Kit.

What center pole do I need?

All mega tree components are designed for 1.5" rigid threaded electrical conduit — not EMT and not electrical conduit.
