What is the twinkle effect?
Twinkle bulbs sparkle on and off at random while the rest of the string glows steady, creating gentle points of motion across the display. On our twinkle strings, every 5th bulb twinkles.
How is twinkle different from SuperSpark® strobe or DreamSpark® fade?
Twinkle is a soft, classic sparkle over steady light. SuperSpark® is a bold strobe where every bulb flashes, and DreamSpark® is a slow, calm fade where every bulb gently dims and brightens. Twinkle sits right in the middle — more motion than steady, gentler than strobe.
Can I control how much of my display twinkles?
Yes. Our retrofit C7 and C9 twinkle ProCore® bulbs use the same E12/E17 bases as our steady bulbs, so you can mix them in any ratio on a C7/C9 stringer — every 3rd bulb, every 10th, or all twinkle.
What twinkle formats are available?
