Commercial Co-axial LED Christmas Light Strings

Commercial co-axial LED Christmas light strings are a professional-grade 5mm and M5 format built on heavier 20 AWG wire — designed for demanding installations where standard 22 AWG strings don’t meet load or durability requirements. Compatible with a full range of co-axial connectors, power taps, and spacer extensions for building large custom runs.

This line is a final closeout. Everything here is priced to move and ships fast while inventory lasts — once a color or accessory is gone, it will not be restocked. Like all of our lights, co-axial strings are best suited for Christmas trees, garland, bushes and landscape work; for rooflines, choose our C9 LED Christmas light sets.

Everything You Need to Know About Commercial Co-Axial LED Christmas Light Strings

Commercial co-axial LED Christmas light strings are built on heavier 20 AWG wire — versus the standard 22 AWG used in most residential strings. The heavier wire supports longer runs, higher load capacities, and more demanding installation environments. The co-axial connector system allows multiple strings, spacers, and power taps to be combined into a single continuous run with centralized power management.

What’s in This Collection

Co-Axial 5mm Strings — 5mm wide-angle dome lens. Available in warm white, cool white, red, green, blue, and multicolor. 4” spacing, green wire, 20 AWG.

Spacer/Extension Cables — For adding distance between strings in a run, or bridging gaps between sections. Available in multiple lengths.

Male Plug — For the power-source end of a co-axial run.

Power Tap Y / T / X — Power distribution taps for splitting and routing power to multiple branches of a co-axial run from a single power source.

Co-Axial vs. Standard Strings

Standard residential strings use 22 AWG wire. Co-axial strings use 20 AWG wire with a co-axial connector system — allowing longer continuous runs and centralized power management without the end-to-end connection limits of standard strings. The correct choice for large commercial installations, mega trees, and high-density display builds.

How to Choose

These commercial-grade strings use a coaxial construction for consistent spacing and increased durability, making them well suited for professional installations and large-scale displays. M5 strings feature an elongated faceted lens that delivers the classic incandescent silhouette; 5mm strings use a wide-angle dome lens for maximum light spread coverage. Choose M5 for a traditional look or 5mm for broad output, and match the string length to your installation run.

Are co-axial strings dimmable? Refer to individual product pages for dimmability information.

What’s the Reindeer Proof™ Warranty? Our in-house warranty covering manufacturing defects and performance failures. Duration varies — see individual product pages.

Are co-axial strings compatible with standard Christmas light accessories?

Co-axial strings use a proprietary connector system that differs from standard SPT socket wire. They are not interchangeable with standard C7/C9 stringer wire or standard SPT accessories. Use only co-axial-compatible connectors and accessories with co-axial string systems.

Questions & Answers

Common questions about commercial co-axial LED Christmas light strings and this closeout.

What makes co-axial LED Christmas lights commercial grade?

Co-axial strings use heavier 20 AWG wire instead of the 22 AWG found on standard light strings, and they connect through a co-axial plug system with dedicated power taps and spacer extensions. That combination is built for large custom runs and demanding installations.

Are commercial co-axial Christmas lights being discontinued?

Yes. This collection is a final closeout. Everything listed is priced to move and ships fast while inventory lasts. Once a color or accessory sells out it will not be restocked, so order the full quantity you need in one go.

Can I connect 5mm and M5 co-axial strings together?

Both styles in this collection use the same co-axial connector system and work with the same power taps and spacer extensions, so they can be built into the same run. Check each product page for the maximum strings per run before you plan a layout.

Can I use commercial co-axial strings on my roofline?

No. 5mm and M5 string lights, including co-axial versions, are made for Christmas trees, garland, bushes and landscape installations. For rooflines and architectural outlines, use C9 LED Christmas light sets or ProCore® C9 bulbs.

What accessories do I need for a co-axial run?

A typical run starts with a male plug lead, uses power taps to split power to multiple branches, and uses spacer extensions to jump gaps between trees or planting beds without lit sections. All three are in this collection while inventory lasts.

Are closeout co-axial lights covered by a warranty?

Yes. Closeout pricing does not change the coverage — every co-axial string in this collection is backed by our Reindeer Proof™ Warranty, and every order earns Cash Back.
