The Adams Manufacturing 5-inch Lawn Speed Stake is a ground stake for C7 and C9 socket sets, used to outline walkways, driveways, planting beds, and other landscape areas with Christmas lights. The stake is driven directly into the ground and holds the light socket upright, so no separate fixture or mounting is needed.
Constructed from high-strength glass-filled nylon, the stake can be driven into most standard soil types without breaking. At 5 inches tall, the socket sits at a low, clean height above grade. Sold as a pack of 25. Pair with C7 or C9 socket sets from The Christmas Light Emporium.

Very sturdy, only wish other size options were available
Where I live I have very rocky soil so the short lengths of these stakes is ideal. Seems I can't go an inch anywhere in the yard without hitting a buried rock or the messy underground cement edge of a sidewalk. These stakes are so much nicer than the foot long versions as there's just enough soil for these shorter stakes to work. The design of the tops of these stakes also hold both C7 and C9 strings (I use both) without any fuss. Also very, very happy these are made here in the US. I've been using these same stakes for three years now and they have held up perfectly. Others have cracked and snapped off after one year where they clipped onto the light string. Junk. Not with these! This review is as I bought a whole bunch more of them because they're that good.

Twist the cords in to the locking teeth and you're done. Significantly better hold than those sold at the big box store. Highly recommended.

The biggest problem with stakes in Miami is that they are too long, you hit rock and then bend the stake. These are a good length and they keep the lights standing up straight. I’ve tried so many but these are the best.
