The TuffClips Wedge Clip is the all-in-one clip for attaching C7 Christmas light sockets along shingles and gutters. It takes its name from the wedge at the bottom of the clip — a double-beveled point that slides easily between even tough-to-separate shingles.
Designed with Flex-Over-Bulb technology, it installs both ways: pre-bulb your stringers before you hang, or clip on-site with bulbs already seated in their sockets. The clip flexes over the bulb and locks onto the stringer wire and socket securely.
Built to grip and hold: an elongated clip body adds depth and contact for stability on gutters and shingles, a reduced-gap cavity gives the clip more "bite," a fixed-angle tail maximizes adherence to shingles, and a raised contact pad adds shingle stability and grip. The UV-inhibited plastic withstands extreme cold and heat for many seasons, and clips stay with the lights at take-down — nothing lost or left behind.
