How to Choose DreamSpark® Christmas Light Strings

DreamSpark® is The Christmas Light Emporium's random slow fade line. Unlike chase or strobe effects, nothing flashes: individual LEDs dim and brighten on their own timing, which reads as a soft, living shimmer across trees, shrubs, and railings. If a steady-on display feels flat and strobes feel like too much, this is the middle ground.

The 4" spacing puts 70 lights on each string — denser than standard 6" spacing — which keeps the fade effect looking full even when some lights are in their dim phase. Choose single colors for a classic look, two-color combinations for contrast, or the ColorCraft® palette versions (Arctic, Stardust, Champagne) for curated color.

Most strings come on green wire, with warm white and cool white also available on white wire. DreamSpark® icicle and net lights complete the line for rooflines and shrubs. Every product here is backed by our Reindeer Proof™ Warranty.

Each LED on the string slowly fades in and out at random, independent of its neighbors. The result is a gentle, continuous shimmer across the whole string — no blinking, chasing, or strobing.

How is DreamSpark® different from twinkle or strobe lights?

Twinkle and strobe effects are quick flashes. DreamSpark® is a slow, smooth fade — the calmest motion effect we sell, closer to candlelight than to a light show.
