These weatherproof gaskets seal the joint between male and female outdoor plug connections, blocking moisture from entering the connection point. When rain or condensation gets into an outdoor plug connection, it can trip GFCIs and interrupt your display. These gaskets sit between the plug faces to keep the connection dry.

  • Pack of 5 gaskets
  • Fit between male and female plug connections
  • Prevents moisture-related GFCI trips
  • Rated for outdoor use
  • Closeout item: sold as-is, final sale, no warranty

Product Help

Questions & Answers

Quick answers for shoppers researching Weatherproof Electrical Plug Extension Cord Gaskets, 5 Pack [CLOSEOUT].

How do I install a weatherproof gasket?

Place the gasket onto the male plug before connecting it to the female plug. When the plugs are connected, the gasket compresses between the two plug faces, sealing the joint from moisture.

Do I need covers as well as gaskets?

Gaskets seal connected plug pairs. If you also have open, unused female plug ends in your installation (not connected to anything), you'll want plug covers to cap those ends. We sell gasket + cover bundles in clear, green, and white.

Looks good

Looks like these silicone outdoor extension cord gaskets and plastic plugs for unused extension outlets will succeed (where more expensive, bulky, ugly, snd hard to operate devices failed) to keep water out for safety, continuous outdoor lighting, and to stop tripping our GFCI outlets. Still waiting for a good rain or melting snow, but these silicone gaskets seem much more watertight.

Thank you for taking the time to share your positive experience with our Weatherproof Electrical Plug Extension Cord Gaskets and Green Covers. We have had great feedback from other customers on these covers and really hope they meet your needs. Happy Holidays!
