When rain or condensation gets into an outdoor plug connection, it can trip GFCIs and interrupt your display. These gaskets sit between the plug faces to keep the connection dry.

How do I install a weatherproof gasket?

Place the gasket onto the male plug before connecting it to the female plug. When the plugs are connected, the gasket compresses between the two plug faces, sealing the joint from moisture.

Do I need covers as well as gaskets?

Gaskets seal connected plug pairs. If you also have open, unused female plug ends in your installation (not connected to anything), you'll want plug covers to cap those ends. We sell gasket + cover bundles in clear, green, and white.
