  • The most unique and versatile black out cap available, these black out caps can be use on a variety of different types of lights including single molded LED M5, M6 and 5mm as well as some types of incandescent mini lights. They are pliable enough and intended to stretch over the base of the bulb creating a seal that will block 100% of the light from coming through. Sold in packs approximately 100 caps - packaged by weight.

  • If you are having problems with these caps slipping off the bulb, then you are not sliding the cap all the way over the base of the bulb as they were designed. Or you are using them on non standard or T-lock incandescent mini light strings which will usually not fit. Please review this article for more information: My Blackout Caps Are Too Big! Caps work great

They were a little big for my bulbs so I had to use electrical tape to keep them on, but they work way better than just tape and shut out the light.

Christmas Light "Condom"

These easily slip on over the bulb and onto the socket. They are slightly elastic so they grip and hold. I am using white wire/sockets so you can see glow through the socket but not these caps. Hopefully these will stay put for years to come. I taped over with electrical tape, more to cover the light bleeding through the socket, but also to keep the caps in place with all the moving about of my frames for taking in and out of storage.
