Set vs. Buying Separately

Sets are the easiest starting point. If you already own C9 stringers, buying bulbs separately is more economical. To extend an existing run, buy additional stringers and matching bulbs.

How to Choose

C9 LED sets are pre-wired strings designed for rooflines, gutters, fences, and architectural outlines where large bulbs create bold impact at a distance. Measure your roofline footage before selecting a set length, and check the bulb spacing matches the look you want. Choose a color or multicolor combination that complements your display, and verify the LED type suits your preferred brightness and look.

Frequently Asked Questions

What’s the base type on C9 sets? C9 bulbs use an E17 intermediate base. All C9 sets in this collection use E17 socket stringers.

What are C9 sets used for? Rooflines, architectural outlines, and large-scale displays.

Are C9 sets dimmable? Steady-on sets are dimmable. Twinkle sets may not be dimmable or may display undesirable behavior when used with a dimmer.
