These replacement pods are used with the LED Keeper repair tool when a standard replacement bulb isn't the right solution. Each pod contains a 330Ω 1/4 watt resistor that mimics the electrical load of a real LED diode — maintaining steady power distribution across the remaining bulbs on the string so they live out their full expected lifespan.
Important: Pods do not illuminate. This is by design — they contain no LED diode or light element. Their purpose is purely electrical: maintaining the power balance of the string after a dead diode has been removed.

This Item fixed the problem. My dogs chewed three light off of my tree. I didn't have any spare bulbs because they did it last Christmas too. These PODS fixed the section of the tree thyat the dogs damaged
Worked Great, We put up around 40,000 lights each year for Christmas and each year I have to replace around 10 -15 strands. This with my LED tool is going to save me a tremendous amout of money.
Used these to save my LED sealed light strings. Very easy to install once you have located bad bulb. Ordered more to keep my investment going.

Overall, I would say the repair pods work good. I have successfully repaired several light sets with them. I would definitely recommend if your going to do it, watch the video the Emporium has on how to use them, it is a helpful video. Isolating the bad bulb becomes a lot easier, and for the sets you cannot remove the bulbs out of, these will work just fine in making them work.
