DreamSpark® Slow Fade Christmas Lights

DreamSpark® is The Christmas Light Emporium's signature slow fade LED line. Instead of flashing or staying steady, each bulb fades in and out at its own random pace, so the whole strand shimmers with a soft, slow twinkle. It is an elegant effect for trees, bushes, wreaths and garlands.

DreamSpark® Slow Fade LED String Lights: Everything You Need to Know

DreamSpark® is The Christmas Light Emporium's signature slow fade LED string light line. Rather than flashing or staying on continuously, DreamSpark® strings cycle through a smooth, rhythmic fade in and out — an elegant effect that works beautifully on rooflines, trees, and architectural features. See the full DreamSpark® collection for all available colors and formats.

What's In This Collection

DreamSpark® slow fade LED strings in all available colors and lens styles. The same commercial-grade ProCore® construction as standard strings, with the DreamSpark® slow fade effect built in. Browse slow fade Christmas lights for the broader slow fade category.

How to Choose

DreamSpark® is the right choice when you want movement without the visual intensity of a strobe. The slow fade cycle is calming and sophisticated — it works particularly well on large roofline runs where the gradual rhythmic fade creates a wave-like effect across the full installation. Available in the same color range as standard strings, so you can mix DreamSpark® sections with steady-on sections for dimensional layering.

Frequently Asked Questions

What does DreamSpark® slow fade mean?

DreamSpark® strings fade in and out in a slow, rhythmic cycle rather than staying at full brightness continuously. The fade is gradual and smooth — not a flash or twinkle. The effect is elegant and subtle compared to strobe-type strings.

Are DreamSpark® strings dimmable?

DreamSpark® slow fade strings may not be dimmable or may display undesirable behavior when used with a standard dimmer switch. Use them on standard switched circuits.

Can I mix DreamSpark® with steady-on strings?

Yes. DreamSpark® strings and steady-on strings can be used in the same display. A common approach is running steady-on strings for the primary outline and DreamSpark® for accent areas — the fade creates visual depth against the steady background.

Is DreamSpark® available in all colors?

DreamSpark® is available in most standard colors. Browse the DreamSpark® collection for the current color selection.

What's the difference between DreamSpark® and SuperSpark®?

DreamSpark® produces a slow, rhythmic fade in and out. SuperSpark® produces a rapid, simultaneous strobe flash across all lights on the string. They create very different visual effects — DreamSpark® is subtle and elegant, SuperSpark® is bold and high-energy.
