Create A Bows & Berries Garland

What You’ll Need:

  • Garland
  • Holly berries
  • Color-coordinated 2 inch wired ribbon
  • Battery operated outdoor LED Christmas lights
  • Twist ties

Directions:

Let’s face it, one of the most beautiful Christmas garland decorations is holly berries. Whether you’d like to admit it or not, holly berries bring warm tones to the environment and will provide your garland with a more sophisticated look, especially when bows are included. First things first, straighten your garland out and gently wrap the battery operated outdoor Christmas lights around it. Then, take the twist ties and secure the LED lights tightly. When finished, connect of sprigs of holly berries to the garland as well. It’s good to space them out effectively. This will give your garland a fuller look; we suggest every 6 inches. Finally, it’s time to use the wired ribbon! Form a few big bows and attach them to the garland with twist ties; we suggest spacing the ribbons out every 12 to 15 inches.
