I have osteoarthritis in my hands and these were tough to put on. I had to put the gasket over the base of the C9 bulb and then thread it into the socket. Placing the gasket in the socket and then threading in the bulb wouldn’t allow the base of the bulb to make contact. Although this hurt my hands immensely I think it will save my LEDs an actually let them reach the end of their life span instead of being corroded prematurely by water.
